Serious Games for Education and Sales Training

Serious games provide a much better way to learn product and industry knowledge. With the right instructional design know-how, learning principles such as spaced repetition and feedback loops can be linked to the mechanics of a game that reps can play for just minutes a day as time allows. Games linked to learning science become real time savers for a sales rep, as the gameplay is designed to help them learn and retain the necessary knowledge. And when the product and technical knowledge is especially complex, sales associates will appreciate games that truly help them learn and remember.

Our experience has shown that games are often the perfect addition to a sales training program or set of reinforcement and reference tools. Not everyone thinks that competition at work is a fun experience, but your sales team probably does. Most sales reps would probably describe themselves as “competitive;” that’s why they got into the profession in the first place. Games with leaderboards can fuel this competitive drive and create a sense of competition between various locations, territories, or even individuals.

Reporting:
Our serious games offer far more data points than a standard eLearning course. For example, a report that shows learning objective success rate for sales reps in different territories provides far more visibility into what sales reps actually know than a raw completion percentage. This information can be used to provide additional training on the weaker topics to the regions that need it. With relevant, accurate data in hand you can deploy just-in-time learning bites that help sales reps shore up the key information they need to learn instead of wasting their time with a full-blown course.

Our game engine is fully customizable and we are able to integrate any concept within our engine.

The following features are automatically prepackaged into our games:

  • Enable/Disable multiple logins for a single user. This feature may take away ability for a single user to log in from multiple devices at the same time.
  • User answers device cashing. A very important feature where internet connectivity is suspect. This feature allows the users to interact with the game completely and when internet connection is restored the answers will be sent to the server.
  • Question including choices randomization and time based scoring is available.
  • Every game is accompanied by a leaderboard where users are sorted in real time based on the points they score. The leaderboard scrolls down and up automatically if there is not enough room on the screen to view all users. The leaderboard may also be limited to display specific number of users.
  • Our Games are able to handle high user loads of 1000+ simultaneous users.
  • We ensure that the games and information stored within them is secure and compliant with latest security standards.
  • The following Question Types have been implemented and available for use:

  • Multiple Choice single answer select
  • Multiple Choice multi answer select
  • Combo Box single answer select
  • Fill in the blank. As the user types the answers suggestions may appear.
  • Drag and drop questions. A user may drag and drop answers based on priority or other matching criteria.

    iLibrary

    iLibrary was developed by our team as an interactive resource library which enables learning on the go. Educational modules for the library can be downloaded by users to their devices. iLibrary works in the similar fashion as proprietary Apple iBooks software with the following features:

  • iPoll Audience Response System

    iPoll is a secure Audience Response System (ARS) application solution for everyone who is looking to add interactive elements to their live events and training. With our application, your local or remote audience can easily and quickly participate in a meeting and make their opinion count.

    The application consists of two user interfaces:

  • Presenter Interface – Used to control content being displayed to the user. The presenter may select a question to display, close down user polling and reveal results to the users. An option in the interface also available to clear user results before beginning the presentation.
  • Client Interface – Using a client interface users may interact with questions posted by presenter and review audience responses.
  • Participant responses are recorded and available for future analysis.

    Event Guide Application

    Inaccurate printed programs are a thing of the past, updating your guide is easy. Our mobile event guide application keeps participants on schedule and informed of the event locations. Serves as a storage repository for event study materials and other event specific documents.

    A brand university is a learning concept that has been developed over many years. Initially it was presented to our pharmaceutical clients as a central document repository for brand specific materials but over the years has grown to be much more.

    We have implemented entire curriculums for Pharmaceutical Sales representatives with brand required courses as well as electives. The universities we developed have many more features including a comprehensive site administration interface. We currently manage over 20 pharmaceutical brand universities for our clients with more on the way.

    Using similar technology we have developed several Continuing Medical Education (CME) sites.

    FAQ Cards.

    FAQ Cards is simple yet elegant and effective software. It was developed to be used in the sales training activities. Initially a group is being presented with a frequently asked question from the clients and given a set amount of time for presenting the best answer. Once the discussion is over the group is presented with certain information that should have been mentioned in their answer.

    Again this is very simple but still an effective tool to promote discussion as well as product knowledge and sales techniques.
